not so good in the hood...

I'm having a bit of a struggle this week. A mental struggle with myself over things I know are bad for me but that I cant seem to get rid of.... My literature review for uni isn't happening so I decided to go through some old photos. I found some of a place I spent 8 days in, back in 2007. Its called Paradise Bay and is located in the Whitsundays in Queensland, Australia. A place which is now reeling from one huge cyclone!

I thought I would share some of the photos I took while staying there.

Whitehaven Beach... made from pure silicon that comes from underground.

The Channel... apparently 70m deep with the Great Barrier Reef on either side.

Heart Reef... its actually tiny in comparison to the rest of the reef.

A goanna... and yes he is alive!

The veiw from the common area of the Bay.

It was quite stormy while I was there which produced some amazing colours in the ocean.

This is the view on the way back to Hamilton Island, you can only arrive and depart by helicopter.

A broken coconut.
